UL Certification FAQ

Q: Are Rad Power Bikes UL Certified?

A: The safety of our riders is our top priority. All of our ebikes undergo rigorous and comprehensive testing for quality and safety and are EN 15194 certified, the first international comprehensive certification for ebikes prior to the development of the UL certification. Rad Power Bike's currently produced ebikes have been tested to UL 2849 standards, and our most current batteries have been tested to comply with  UL 2271 or UL 62133 standards, even though it has not been required, and we are in the process of working with UL on the formal certification process.
