The "standover height" is one of the most important measurements to consider when determining whether or not an ebike from Rad Power Bikes will fit your unique body proportions.
The standover height is the distance from the top tube of the frame to the ground, measured from just in front of the seat. This is where you would be straddling the bike frame, ideally with your feet flat on the ground. As long as you have around an inch of clearance between the top tube of the bike frame and the base of your torso, you should be able to ride (and come to an abrupt stop) safely.
You can determine the clearance by comparing the standover height of a bike to your internal leg length, or inseam.
Photos of the standover height of each ebike from Rad Power Bikes can be found in the "sizing" section on each bike's product page. The standover heights for our different models* are also listed here for your convenience:
RadRover -- 30.5"
RadRunner -- 16.5"
RadWagon -- 26"
RadMini -- 28"
RadMini Step-Thru -- 16"
RadCity 16" frame -- 29"
RadCity 19" frame -- 31"

*These measurements are for 2019 models. Previous model standover heights may vary slightly.

Ensure the bike fits you properly before your first use. You may lose control or fall if your bike is too big or too small. If you do not have the experience, skill, and tools to complete proper adjustment to fit the bike to you safely and appropriately, Rad Power Bikes highly recommends having a certified, reputable bike mechanic, who specializes in bike fitting, to fit the bike to you before your first ride.
