We recommend the Hollywood Rack's HR1450E model, which we have tested for safety and compatibility with our bikes. You can find the Hollywood HR1450E on our website under the accessories tab or by clicking HERE.
This rack mounts onto a 2" hitch and can hold two of our bikes. The following tire fittings are available for selection based on the bikes you're looking to carry:
2x fat tires: Will fit (2) RadRovers OR (2) RadMinis OR a combination of the two.
2x standard tires: Will fit (2) RadWagons OR (2) RadCitys OR (1) RadWagon and (1) RadCity
1 fat tire 1 standard tire: Will fit (1) RadWagon/RadCity and (1) RadRover/RadMini
2x Step-Thrus: To fit multiple RadCity Step-Thrus you will need to purchase this adapter from Hollywood Racks.
This rack does not work on vehicles with a 5th wheel mounted on the rear hatch since it does not have the required clearance.
The installation video is below.
There are many other third party bike racks that may fit our bikes and your vehicle. When searching for potentially compatible racks, be sure they can accommodate the tire width and wheelbase of your particular bike(s) and are rated for the weight of ebikes. The maximum weight capacity of the rack should be per bike, not total (i.e. we do not recommend using a rack designed for four pedal bikes up to 120 lbs total to transport two of our 60 lb bikes).
Our RadRover, RadCity, and RadMini weigh approximately 60 lbs and our RadWagon weighs approximately 70 lbs.
You can remove the batteries before loading your bike(s) onto a rack to reduce their weight if desired. Determine the weight of the batteries HERE.
Be aware that your vehicle may have limits to the amount of weight that it can carry with the hitch or other places a bike rack may be mounted.
At this time we don't know of any trunk or roof mounted racks that are compatible with our bikes.
