All ebikes by Rad Power Bikes have a top speed of 20 mph (32 km/h) without pedaling, which is the legal limit for street legal ebikes in most areas and in accordance with nation-wide ebike laws.*
There is nothing that will physically prevent you from exceeding 20 mph when pedaling, but you will not receive any motor assistance once you exceed 20 mph, which is the legal limit in most locations for use on road. This means that on long downhill sections of road or just under your own leg power you can go over 20 mph!
*European models are programmed for a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h in accordance with European ebike laws.

Users must take ample care in their usage in respect to traveling at speeds appropriate for the usage area, riding conditions, and user experience level. Riders must understand the operation of the twist throttle and pedal assistance sensors before using the bike and always use the lowest assist level until comfortable with the bike and feel confident in controlling the full power.
